The Boss 2 DAC is the upgraded successor to the legendary Boss DAC—one of the most successful DACs ever designed for Raspberry Pi. After three years of refinement, the Boss 2 delivers improved sound quality, lower distortion, and even better value.
Powered by the Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chip, the Boss 2 achieves a THD of -120 dB, delivering darker, smoother sound with ultra-low noise—perfect for long listening sessions. With over 30 low-dropout regulators (LDOs), dual supercapacitors, and extensive filtering, this DAC offers exceptional clarity and precision for high-resolution audio streaming.
Designed for Raspberry Pi 4, the Boss 2 is available in an acrylic case with OLED display and remote control, making it as stylish as it is high-performing. For the best audio quality, pair it with the Nirvana PSU (earthed switch on) or the Shanti PSU.
Note: Raspberry Pi and microSD card are not included.
