The BOSS DAC is designed for audiophiles who demand exceptional sound quality from their Raspberry Pi-based music streaming setup. Using master mode for I²S, the BOSS DAC eliminates jitter caused by the Pi’s clock limitations, delivering cleaner, more accurate audio playback.
This DAC separates and filters power for digital, analog, and clock circuits, employs ultra-low-noise Linear LT3042 regulators, and uses premium NDK oscillators for precision timing. Combined with high-quality film capacitors and a supercapacitor boost for demanding bass passages, the BOSS DAC achieves what we believe is the best analog implementation of the PCM5122 chip available.
